For three months I lived in the village of Adexor (Ada-ho) in the Volta Region of Ghana. I witnessed the challenges villagers faced
collecting their daily water supply from a polluted stream that is significantly diminished during the dry season. The residents of
Adexor identified clean drinking water as their greatest need.
theWATERproject.ca is a program to establish a clean drinking water solution for Adexor and the nearby sister village, Adexor-Kpodzi.
Our team is helping the people of these villages build rain-harvesting facilities and secure access to clean drinking water throughout
the year.
Please read on for details about the project, our progress and how you can help!
